I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is regularly supervised in accordance with BACP expected standards and I work under their Ethical Framework.
My Qualifications
- Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy Accredited)
- Couples Counselling (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy Accredited)
- Time Focussed Therapy - including theory and skills drawn from Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT) and Transpersonal Therapy
- Assessment of Clients for Counselling
- Trauma Focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT)
- BA (Hons) Degree in English and Classical Studies
Outside of my professional qualifications, my ongoing education is vital in order to remain relevant and focused in my work with my clients. I undertake and record continuing professional development (CPD) in line with the BACP's requirements.
Professional Registration
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is regularly supervised in accordance with BACP expected standards and I work under their Ethical Framework within my own practice, which you can view here.
The BACP is a professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy and works towards the provision of an exemplary standard of therapeutic practice. The register of counsellors and psychotherapists is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I hold professional liability and indemnity insurance.
I hold a current DBS Certificate
